How long does it take for my picture to appear on foodieportal .com?
We try and review pictures every day, so normally it would take under 24 hours.
Is there a limit to how many pictures I can submit in a day?
There is no limit, fire away.
Can anyone submit pictures?
Yes, anyone can submit pictures, as long as you provide a link back to your post. Also if this is not your picture or post, please make sure you have permission to publish the picture.
What is My Gallery?
My Gallery will show you all the pictures you ever submitted that were approved and are pending.
If I entered a description wrong, will foodieportal change it for me?
Certainly, just let us know which recipe to change and what the new description should be and we’ll gladly change it.
How do I upload a picture?
To upload pictures you must first be a subscriber, so if you are not already registered, please register to foodieportal . Once you register you will receive an email with your username and password. Use that to log in, then click on Submit link in the menu.
Why was my picture declined?
Here at FoodiePortal, we accept all food pictures, so if your picture was rejected it must have been because it is not a food picture or it does not belong to your blog, remember you must have permission to post a picture. You can also see the reason your picture was rejected in your profile page.
Do my pictures need to be 250px x 250px?
In short, YES, We recommend that you crop your pictures using free software like GIMP or any other software that you might be comfortable with. There is also a filesize limit of 500kB per image.
